Ragnarök

(Old Norse: “Doom of the Gods”), in Scandinavian mythology, the end of the world of gods and men. The Ragnarök is fully described only in the Icelandic poem Völuspá (“Sibyl's Prophecy”), probably of the late 10th century, and in the 13th-century Prose Edda of Snorri Sturluson

Captain Spry

This unusual name popped into my head. Turns out there is an actual Captain William Spry (Britisg Army Officer). He fought in the French and Indian War. In 1783 he was made a Colonel in the Royal Engineers, rising to the rank of Major-General (1793) and later Lieutenant-General (1799). Anyhow, nobody cares. Moving on then.
